InCommon Federation Fee Schedule

InCommon fees are set on a cost recovery basis and reviewed yearly. The registration fee is due by credit card at the time the registration is submitted. Annual fees, based on a calendar year from January 1 to December 31, are not prorated. All fees are non-refundable.

Fees for both Higher Education Institutions and Sponsored Partners

Notes:
1. The identity management system being registered must be under the management of the associated InCommon Participant(Higher Education Institution or Sponsored Partner). In particular, third party systems may not be registered. Participant is responsible for the actions of all identity management and service provider systems registered under its aegis.
2. Service Provider IDs are registered individually as needed. The package fee enables registration of up to the package number without additional fees. If the established quota is exceeded, InCommon will issue an invoice for the next incremental package as part of the annual renewal fee.
3. Higher Education Institutions will need approval from InCommon and will be charged all InCommon fees for any additional identity management systems within the same organization. They are strongly encouraged to consolidate this function so that a single identity management system can suffice.
